Why meaningful participation matters, and where we go from here.

The day at a glance

We started Saturday with a big question: what role can meaningful participation play in strengthening democracy? The room was full and the conversation was underway before the coffee cooled.

The morning widened the lens to neurodivergence and design, technology, engagement ethics and the conditions that help more people participate meaningfully. Our Platinum Sponsor, the SFU Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue, joined us at the Exhibitors Showcase. Thank you for being part of the table in Vancouver.

The final learning session brought it all back to connection: what becomes possible when engagement moves beyond silos and across systems. One last hour of learning, then we gathered to close. The conversations will continue well beyond Vancouver.
